Medium-Wave IR: Precision, Homogeneity, Durability
Corrugated ribbons heated to 800°C, inertia below 5 seconds, power densities of 5 to 70 kW/m². The medium-wave IR emission spectrum (2.6 to 9.6 µm) is very well absorbed by the vast majority of industrial materials. Radiation efficiency above 90% measured by an independent laboratory. Our range covers the full spectrum of needs, from food & beverage to high-performance composites.

Perfect Homogeneity
Uniformly distributed heating ribbons guarantee identical heating on dark and light surfaces. No risk of localised overheating, whatever the part geometry or material.

Long-Term Robustness
Heating elements are insensitive to thermal shock. Certain Sopara emitters have been in service for over 50 years. A vital criterion for continuously operating production lines.

Safety in the Event of a Production Stoppage
Inertia below 5 seconds: when the line stops, emitters cool down immediately. Material immobilised under the emitter arrays is not at risk of burning. Decisive for lines with frequent or unpredictable stoppages.

Designed for Demanding Environments
The MIR HP AGRO and MIR HP CERA ranges are designed for operation in humid, saline or corrosive environments. Zero glass, steel staples detectable by metal detectors. In food & beverage, chemical and steam processes, medium-wave IR adapts where other technologies fail.
The Processes That Call for Medium-Wave IR

Industries & Medium-Wave IR Applications
From aerospace to food & beverage, from powder coating to floor coverings: every application benefits from the homogeneity, robustness and exceptional efficiency of medium-wave IR.
What Makes the Difference: the Emitter, the Regulation, the Material
Choosing medium-wave IR is not enough. It is the combination of the emitter, the regulation and the knowledge of the material that delivers the result. Three pillars that make the difference in the field.
10,000 Laboratory Tests
30 years of medium-wave IR expertise. Every new request is tested in the laboratory to validate the wavelength best suited to your material and secure your choice before any investment.
Emitters and Regulation Designed Together
The emitter alone is not enough. Our RadiantLine™ emitters (including the patented MIR HP Aero V5) and our ThermalCore™ cabinets are developed to work in tandem: homogeneity guaranteed across the entire surface, zone-by-zone control, native traceability.
A Certified Range, from 5 to 70 kW/m²
From homogeneous heating in food & beverage to high-performance treatment of aeronautical composites. 100% of emitters tested before dispatch. ISO 9001.
