Yes. ThermalCloud™ is designed to build on what already exists. As long as your installation is equipped with a PLC — which is the case for 99% of industrial installations today — data can be collected. Secure VPN connectivity is already available on all Sopara installations equipped with an electrical cabinet. No redesign of the installation is required to get started.

Preventive maintenance schedules interventions at regular intervals, regardless of whether there is an alert signal. Predictive maintenance acts on the basis of real data: it detects that consumption has drifted by a few percentage points under identical conditions, identifies the component in the process of wearing, and triggers an intervention at the right time. It is the shift from reactive to proactive, from emergency to anticipation. ThermalCloud™ enables both: prediction as the advanced layer, prevention as the safety net.

Yes. Sopara relies on a specialised technology partner, guaranteeing the robustness and security of the cloud infrastructure. This is a deliberate choice to guarantee the most stringent industrial security standards. For sectors where any external communication is excluded — such as the nuclear or defence sectors — Sopara offers fully local alternative architectures, with no cloud connection.
